I started Thrive because I couldn't find premium biodegradable alternatives to PVC baits. I spent most of my summers on the water, but each cast came with a thought: What happens to each plastic bait I lose?

After seeing how little innovation there was in the eco space, and how the options were either too stiff or fell apart, I started making my own.

I didn’t start in a lab. I started in my basement and kitchen — pouring, testing, and tweaking every batch myself. Every mold, every mixture, every fish caught was part of the process.
